VolleyTots is a volleyball playground to expose your daughter or son to the sport of volleyball. This youth program teaches gross motor skills and skills development using fun activities! Those who attend this program will learn hand-eye coordination, volleyball specific movement, as well as the basic skills of passing, setting, hitting and serving. The training in this program will systematically prepare young girls and boys to excel in any sport especially volleyball as they grow and develop.
School's Out Camp:
Start off your summer with our Junior School’s Out camp. A great introduction to the sport of volleyball breaking down each position, competitive game play, developing motor skills and craft exercises that gives our campers everything they need, to develop themselves as athletes.
Heading Back to High School Camp
This camp packs a punch with skill development, strategies, systems, game management and knowledge of the game. Not only do the campers hit the court with high energy and fuel to strive further in this sport. But campers will hit the books and have a classroom session, taking notes and creating diagrams of systems; giving players the opportunity of seeing the game from a coach's view. This camp has been our most popular camp for high schoolers, developed for 9th & 10th graders, but also a great camp for 11th & 12th graders who are looking to dust off the volleyball shoes and freshening up their skills and knowledge.
Middle School Prep Camp
Players are preparing to head back to school and we are still open for training! This camp is a great break out for players to get ready for their middle school try-outs. With the fundamentals of all skills, building game play experience, and team building exercises, this camp is a great kick-start before your season begins.

It is with great pleasure that I announce three of Ignite’s amazing athletes have been selected to the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association (ICGSA) 2014 ICGSA Volleyball All State Teams. The ICGSA represents each of the ten girls' sports in Indiana and has a membership of over 1300 Indiana coaches, with representation from all levels of coaching. Only four young ladies in the Region received this year’s honor, one coming from the Dunes Volleyball club and the remaining three that call Ignite Elite home.
Please congratulate Rachel Bontrager, a Sophomore at Valparaiso who has been selected to the Class 4A All-State Team, 2nd Team. Carly Cappello, a Senior at Hammond Bishop Noll who has been selected to the Class 2A All-State Team, 1st Team and Bella Keuchenberg, a Freshman at Hammond Bishop Noll who has been selected to the Class 2A All-State Team, 2nd Team.
We are very proud of you, ladies!
Ignite Elite Volleyball is a premier club located in Crown Point, IN. Our focus is on player development, skill refinement and positive instruction while helping our athletes succeed. We promote team unity, and demonstrate consistency, accountability, respect, discipline and structure with all players, parents and staff members. Players make new friends and learn life lessons that they will take with them long after their club careers are over. At Ignite, our athletes are our number one priority.
How are we different from other clubs?
Ignite Elite is a smaller club and one of the advantages of a smaller club is more individual coaching for the players. Your athlete will not get lost in the huge numbers represented in a large club. Another advantage is the "Family Atmosphere" that Ignite provides. In a small club, you will always have access to the club coaches, trainers and director.
Ignite has highly qualified staff (See Bio's page). Ignite employs the most well rounded personnel who share in a love for the game of volleyball. We attract coaches that see and understand the big picture. Winning is not always everything, but being competitive and wanting to win is important. We are here to build character, heart and positive attitudes. In order to help our athletes build these attributes, our personnel must possess these qualities.
Selecting a Club:
When selecting a club it is important to find one that fits your needs. At Ignite we offer a family atmosphere. Our club director; Michelle Thompson makes herself available to answer questions, assist whenever needed and is at the gym daily. At Ignite, you are not just a number, we believe in quality over quantity and our players are our first priority!
We offer: Camps/Clinics, Positional Training, Strength/Conditioning Training, Private Lessons and Developmental Training
We participate in Great Lakes Power League, the #1 Recruited Junior Volleyball League in the US
